If you are planning to study at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), completing the Post-UTME screening is a mandatory step.

Good news: The screening is conducted entirely online. Applicants do not need to visit the campus or sit for a physical aptitude test.

ESUT Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Registration Dates

  • Registration Opens: Tuesday, 7 July 2026.

  • Registration Closes: Saturday, 15 August 2026.

(Note: Register early to avoid network congestion and payment issues near the deadline).

Who Is Eligible?

The screening is open to:

  • Candidates who chose ESUT during the 2026 UTME.

  • Candidates who did not initially choose ESUT but wish to change their institution through JAMB before applying. (Read our Guide to JAMB Change of Course here).

  • Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into ESUT.

How Much Is the ESUT Post UTME Form?

The official screening fee is ₦2,000.

Payment is made through the university's approved channels after generating an invoice on the portal. Do not pay cash to agents.

ESUT Post UTME Cut-Off Marks (By Course)

The university has published different minimum UTME scores depending on the competitiveness of the course:

Courses Requiring 240 and Above

  • Medicine and Surgery

Courses Requiring 220 and Above

  • Pharmacy

  • Doctor of Optometry

Courses Requiring 200 and Above

Documents Needed for Registration

Before starting your application, prepare the following:

  • JAMB Registration Number.

  • Valid phone number and email address.

  • O'Level result (or awaiting result details).

  • Debit card or funds for bank payment.

How to Apply for ESUT Post UTME 2026/2027

Step 1: Visit the ESUT Admission Portal

Go to the official ESUT admission portal and select the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Registration option.

Step 2: Enter Your JAMB Registration Number

Input your JAMB Registration Number to verify your details.

Step 3: Generate Your Payment Invoice

Fill in the required information to generate your payment invoice.

Step 4: Pay the Screening Fee

Pay the ₦2,000 fee using either:

  • Bank Payment: Print your invoice and pay at any commercial bank.

  • Online Payment: Use your debit card on the portal.

Step 5: Complete Your Application

Return to the portal after payment, re-enter your JAMB Registration Number, complete all required information, and review every detail before submitting.

Step 6: Print Your Acknowledgement Slip

Once submitted successfully, print your acknowledgement slip and keep it safe. You may need it during the physical admission screening.

Important O'Level Requirements

Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results may apply. However, take note of these strict rules:

  1. Deadline for Results: The university will not accept O'Level results released after 30 September 2026.

  2. JAMB CAPS Upload: Every applicant must upload their O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.

  3. Name Matching: Your name must be exactly the same on your JAMB result, O'Level certificate, and registration documents. Any inconsistency may lead to disqualification.

Q1: Is ESUT conducting a written Post-UTME exam?

A: No. According to the official notice, candidates are screened entirely online based on the information and O'Level grades they submit.

Q2: Can I apply if I didn't choose ESUT in JAMB?

A: Yes. You must first complete a Change of Institution to ESUT through JAMB, then proceed to the ESUT portal to apply.

Q3: Can candidates with awaiting results apply?
